Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to treatments and services provided by Wendy Freeman Advanced Facialist at The Olive Clinic, 2 Malmesbury Road, Chippenham, SN15 1PW.

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Consultations and Suitability

Some treatments require a consultation, skin assessment, medical history review, patch test or face-to-face appointment with a prescriber before treatment can take place. You must provide complete and accurate information about your health, medication, allergies, previous procedures and any changes that could affect your treatment. Please tell me if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or receiving medical care.

Treatment may be postponed, adapted or declined if I believe it would not be safe or suitable. In some circumstances, written approval from your GP, consultant or another appropriate healthcare professional may be requested.

Treatment Expectations

Every client is an individual. Anatomy, physiology, skin condition, lifestyle, medication, healing response and many other factors can influence how the body responds to treatment. I will always explain the expected benefits, possible risks, limitations and likely treatment plan as honestly as possible. However, results cannot be guaranteed and may vary between clients. Some concerns require a course of treatments or ongoing maintenance rather than a single appointment.

Photographs shown on the website or social media represent individual client results and should not be taken as a guarantee that another client will achieve exactly the same outcome. All treatments are carried out with care, honesty and appropriate safety procedures. My aim is always to provide professional advice and realistic expectations rather than promise an outcome that cannot be guaranteed.

Consent

You will be given the opportunity to ask questions before treatment. By agreeing to proceed, you confirm that you understand the proposed treatment, its benefits, limitations, possible side effects and aftercare requirements. You may withdraw your consent at any time before treatment begins. Anti-wrinkle treatments and other treatments restricted by law are available to clients aged 18 and over only.

Prescribed Treatments

Prescription-only treatments require an appropriate consultation with a qualified prescriber. A treatment cannot go ahead unless the prescriber confirms that it is safe and suitable. Once an individual prescription has been issued and the medication has been ordered specifically for you, the related prescription and medication costs cannot normally be refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Appointments and Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. The deposit will normally be deducted from the final treatment price. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Appointments cancelled or rearranged with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may result in the deposit being retained. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require full payment in advance before another booking can be accepted.

If you arrive late, I will do my best to provide as much of the treatment as possible. However, your treatment may need to be shortened to avoid delaying the next client, and the full appointment fee may still apply.

Prices and Payments

Current prices are displayed on the website or booking system. Prices may be updated periodically, but the price confirmed when you book will apply unless the treatment plan changes following consultation. Where additional treatment is recommended, the cost will be discussed with you before proceeding.

Courses and Packages

Courses and packages are intended for the named client and cannot normally be transferred to another person. Once a course has begun, completed treatments are non-refundable. If you are medically unable to continue, or there are exceptional circumstances, please contact me so the remaining balance can be reviewed fairly. Any refund agreed may take account of treatments already received at their standard individual price and any costs already incurred.

Aftercare

You are responsible for following the aftercare advice provided. Please contact me promptly if you experience an unexpected reaction or have concerns following treatment. I cannot accept responsibility for complications caused by withholding relevant medical information, failing to follow aftercare instructions or using products or undergoing other procedures against the advice given.

Concerns and Complaints

Your wellbeing and satisfaction are very important to me. If you have any concerns about your treatment, please contact me as soon as possible so that we can discuss them and arrange a review where appropriate. I will always listen, assess your concerns honestly and do my best to find an appropriate way forward.

Liability and Legal Rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated occasionally to reflect changes to services, business practices or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on the website.
