Lesions and Thread Vein Removal

Skin Blemishes Removal

Advanced diathermy can be used to treat a range of benign skin lesions, including skin tags, cherry angiomas, seborrhoeic keratoses, milia, syringoma and some non pigmented moles.

A fine sterile probe delivers controlled heat directly to the lesion, allowing it to be treated precisely while minimising disruption to the surrounding skin.

Many smaller lesions can be treated during one appointment. Larger or more complex lesions may

require additional treatment, and some moles will need confirmation from your GP before treatment can take place.

Results and healing times vary depending on the type, size and location of the lesion.

Capillary and Thread Vein Removal

Advanced diathermy can be used to reduce the appearance of thread veins, broken capillaries, spider naevi and other small red vascular blemishes on the face and body, including suitable capillaries on the legs.

A fine sterile probe delivers controlled heat to the individual capillary, causing it to close and gradually become less visible. The treatment is precise and carefully adapted to the size and location of the area.

Some smaller capillaries may respond after one appointment, while larger or more established areas may require a course of treatments.

This treatment is suitable for small surface capillaries on the legs but cannot be used to treat varicose veins.

Lesion and Capillary Consultation

A consultation is required before any advanced diathermy or lesion removal treatment. This allows me to assess the area carefully, discuss your medical history and determine whether treatment is appropriate.

I will explain which treatment method is most suitable, what you can expect during the appointment, the healing process and whether further treatments may be required.

Some moles or unusual lesions may need to be checked by your GP before I can proceed. If the area is suitable and enough time has been reserved, treatment may be carried out during the same appointment.

Your comfort, safety and informed consent will always come first.
